Thank you for getting me all bathed, dressed, ready and looking adorable!

Thank you for leaving spilled water on the floor so I could sit directly in it and play! That was super fun! Thank you for changing my clothes. I still looked adorable!

Mom, thank you for leaving your Wendy's bag from last night on the living room floor. I'm sorry I was being so quiet, but that brownish-reddish stuff in the bag was tasty! I guess it's called BBQ sauce. I love it. I'm sorry it got all over my hands and legs and face and the carpet. It was totally worth it. Thank you for changing my clothes - again. I still looked adorable!

Mom, I don't know why it's such a big deal to change my clothes three times in two hours. Besides, who can refuse an absolutely adorable face like this:

I love you, Mom! And BBQ sauce. And water. And three outfits.

Happy October!

One Century

Happy birthday, Lincoln County High School!

We went to Panaca last weekend to spend some time with family and celebrate the high school's 100 year birthday! The "L" was lit up during the football game.

If you ask Andlie who won or what happened during the game, she'd tell you that she ate a million rice cakes and drank a lot of grape juice.

Then she'd say, "Who even cares about football anyway? Not me. I'd rather hang out on the ground, play in the dirt, and try to sneak a rock or two in my mouth when Mom's not looking."

We took a quick family photo with the Lincoln Lynx.

After the game, all of the Student Body Presidents and Homecoming Queens got announced as they walked to the field. For those of you who don't know, my husband is a pretty big deal - SBO 2002! Bryan is pictured somewhere in this picture. I swear.

Most of the day on Saturday was spent hanging with family - yay! Andlie and Beau even became quite good friends after Beau realized that Andlie was the boss and he might as well start liking her now.

One of the best parts of the weekend is that we got to see Grandma & Grandpa Allen who we haven't seen since March!
Grandma Allen graduated from LCHS in 1952. Bryan graduated in 2002. If you're doing the math, that's exactly 50 years apart. In this picture, they are pointing to the years they graduated - the dash.

And here is Grandma Allen in her 3-stripe sweater! She was an LCHS cheerleader for three years! Isn't she cute?
Saturday afternoon, there was a program on the football field. Andlie wanted to pose for a picture with the foam.

And then we got jealous, so we did the same thing.

Here we are after the program standing (you got it) right on the very football field of LCHS.

We had a wonderful weekend in Panaca! And, although I love everyone in my phone, it was nice to have a weekend with no cell service to spend with our awesome, spunky, wonderful family. Plus, the celebration was so fun! As Grandma Allen said, "Not many people get to see their high school turn 100 years old." We loved spending the weekend in Panaca with our fam!

The Big 2-5!

Whoa! Remember when you were little and people that were 25 were HUMONGOUS in your eyes? I do. And now. . .I'm one of them!

Thank you, Mandy, for a fun birthday lunch!

I got a brand new bike! Not to mention, it's adorable! It knocked and ran at our door.

Thank you, Bryan! I can't wait to ride it with you!

Thank you, Mom & Andlie, for a fun trip to St. George that night since Bryan was at school for a million hours!

Thank you again, Bryan, for the beautiful roses and DVD that were waiting when I got home!

What a wonderful birthday! I am so grateful for a awesome hubby who, even though he had work and school all day, took the time to make my day special and get me a bike! Eek! I can't wait! I am so grateful for a super wonderful family who celebrated with me through the entire weekend! (Thanks, Mom, for the homemade pizza dinner! And, thanks, Allen parents, for the fun night together!) Also, thank you to anyone who called, sent a text, sent an e-mail, sent a card, or stopped by. It means a million to me that you remembered my special day!

What We've Been Up To

Lately, we've been busy:

Going to football games!

Picking dandelions!

Reading books!

Eating our very own big girl crackers!

Finding ways to play with Daddy even though his arm is broken!

And learning to say, "no!" (We're aware that she doesn't really know what she's doing, but it's funny nonetheless.)
