So Big

Hey everyone. It's me, Andlie. I'm getting so big these days! Here are a few things I can do now!

I can sit up all by myself! (But I seem to tip over when Mommy or Daddy move their hand. Dang.)

I can get anything I want if I make the right face. Or any face for that matter.

I can almost roll over to my tummy! That dumb hand just keeps getting in my way!

I found my feet and I can grab them whenever I want!

I can stand up horizontally! It's one of my favorite ways to sit on Daddy's lap.

I can sit up all by myself for real when I'm in the Bumbo. That thing is cool.

I can steal Mommy & Daddy's noses!

I can escape from Mommy & Daddy's VERY tight bundle at night and be completely free by morning!

I can smile all day, every day, every second! Sometimes, I can even giggle!

I can get free from the nap transe Mommy puts me in. If you look closely, you'll notice that I have pulled my headband down to my neck, thrown my blankie on the ground, and chucked my bink down there as well. I had to look really innocent when Mommy came in.

I can stand up and play in my new toy!

I am getting so big and learning so many new things every day! Boy, this world is fun! Oh, and since my Mommy & Daddy always say that they love me, I guess I'll give a shout out to them too. Love you, Mommy & Daddy! Sorry that I peed on you this morning, Mommy. And sorry that I spit up in your mouth last week, Daddy.

Happy Birthday, Brycie!

Happy 19, Brycie!
We LOVE you!

First Foods

Andlie was a little curious getting ready for the big moment. . .

. . .and wasn't so sure what to think when the moment arrived.

Maybe she could get used to this!

But probably not for a while.

"Okay, that's enough. Give me that spoon."

Every little thing she does is magic!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! For Easter,

the Easter Bunny hid our baskets on Friday night. Don't worry, we each found ours on Saturday morning in the tub, on the computer desk, and on the floor. (The Easter Bunny wanted to be sure Andlie didn't miss hers, so it was hidden right outside of her crib.)

The Easter baskets were filled with candy! The Easter Bunny even remembered our tradition we started last year to get a family game each year for Easter! This is the one he brought us this year.

Andlie is very good at it.

Andlie got a new dress for Easter Sunday. . .

. . .that tasted really good!

She looked so pretty in her new dress and red tights!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend filled with family, friends, and happiness. We are forever grateful, especially at this time of year, for our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ and for His sacrifice that He made for us all.

With all my heart and the fervency of my soul, I lift up my voice in testimony as a special witness and declare that God does live. Jesus is His Son, the Only Begotten of the Father in the flesh. He is our Redeemer; He is our Mediator with the Father. He it was who died on the cross to atone for our sins. He became the firstfruits of the Resurrection. Because He died, all shall live again. “Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives: ‘I know that my Redeemer lives!’ ” May the whole world know it and live by that knowledge. ---President Thomas S. Monson

We hope everyone had a Happy Easter!!

Anything Goes. . .

. . .in my mouth.
"Hmmm, maybe if I bring it up slowly, Mom won't notice."

"How come nobody ever let me suck on one of these before?!"

"Get in my mouth, blankie!"

"Oops, Mom caught me."

"YUM!!! RAGS!!!!!!!!!!"

"Mom, are these for eating? Please?"

"I wonder if my finger tastes as good as Mommy's. . .Yep. It does."

"Hey Mom. What are you doing? I'm just hangin out with my finger. Want some? It's good."

Giggles!

Enough said.

Flyin'

Andlie and her Daddy found a new trick a couple weeks ago - - FLYIN! It makes any sad girl cheer right up!

Andlie loves flyin', especially when it's Daddy who is playing the part of the plane. Bryce and my Dad also love flyin', but a different kind.

First, Bryce had to put the harness on.

Then he had to practice his "arch."

Then he went SKYDIVING! I hugged him after because I was glad he was still alive.

Andlie was also concerned, so he made sure to tell her that he was still alive. She was happy.

Then my Dad got ready to go up.

Then he landed perfectly.

I didn't get any "I'm thankful you're still alive pictures" with him because he was a bit. . . sick-ish, but I am thankful that he's still alive.

Russell (Bryce's friend), Bryce, Rick (the skydive man), and my Dad posed for a pic for me.

I can't believe they really did it! I'm so jealous.
